Norandrostenedione (Nor-19) was developed for those of us training with high intensity workouts. Nor-19 users may experience immediate improvements in nitrogen retention, muscle recovery and exhibit more rapid gains in strength and size.

Though not as androgenic as testosterone, it adds a unique dimension to androgen onset muscle growth. You see, nortestosterone binds differently to the muscle cell's androgen receptor.

The androgen receptor is a protein molecule on the surface of the muscle cell that allows the binding of an androgen molecule/hormone, sending the hormone's signal inside the muscle cell. It is theorized that the receptor affinity for nortestosterone is very high thus binding the molecule "tighter".

This may make nortestosterone more efficient at delivering its "anabolic" signal for a longer period of time. This may equate to more sustained muscle growth.
